This summer, The Swan School celebrated its second ever GCSE results. This marks the culmination of five years’ hard work by the second cohort of students to join the school back in September 2020.
An impressive 40% of exams were graded as 7-9 (A/A*) and 83% of entries were graded as 4-9 (A*-C). These grades will unlock doors for our students to go on to Sixth Form, college and apprenticeships and represent an extremely optimistic future.
We are delighted for our students – they have worked hard and deserve their successes. We are unapologetically academic in our approach and are proud to have provided these fantastic young people with the rigorous curriculum, excellent teaching, impeccable learning environment, and nurturing pastoral support which have enabled them to achieve. Their achievements are all the more impressive given the challenges they have faced during their secondary education – joining the school in the middle of a global pandemic and delays to the school site!
We look forward to welcoming lots of our students back into our Sixth Form in September. For those going on to new challenges, we wish them the best of luck and know that they will have the skills to thrive in all their future endeavours.
