SwanComm is our parent-staff organisation (Registered Charity number 1198211). Parents and carers work with the school to create a sense of community and support learning, raising funds to pay for activities and equipment to enhance our young people’s school experience.

When you join The Swan as a parent or carer, you automatically become a member of SwanComm. All are welcome to attend SwanComm meetings twice a term to help plan social activities and fundraising events. It’s a great way to contribute to school life and get to know other parents and carers. 

SwanComm runs events such as the Craft Fair, Year 7 Disco and SwanFest (our annual community event and fundraiser) as well as supporting the school with Sports Day, the school production and other events.  SwanComm runs an annual fundraiser and donations raised this year paid for the stage, we also use funds to contribute to the minibus upkeep, electives and other requests from the school.  SwanComm run the 2nd hand uniform shop https://www.uniformd.co.uk  – search for Swan School.
