GCSE Results 2026

Swan School Year 11 students have celebrated an exceptional set of GCSE results this summer.  This was the school's third set of GCSE results and the first 'large' year group of 180 students.  Our students have significantly outperformed both local and national averages across all performance measures and achieved the best results for all non-selective schools in the city.

Attainment 8 (a measure of students' attainment across 8 subjects) was 59.4 (compared with 46.0 nationally), 83% of students achieved five or more grades at 4+ (including English and Maths), and 47% of papers were awarded the highest grades of 7, 8, or 9.

We are incredibly proud of all of our students who have embodied our school values of ambition, dedication, kindness, and integrity since they joined the school in year 7.  We are looking forward to seeing what they go on to achieve in their next phases of study - in our Sixth Form or beyond.
